The OCRR believes that if disputes are resolved outside of the court system, the burden of the judicial system in terms of workload may be eased and much money
will be saved.

Resolution of disputes is by mediation with a third party as a mediator

The OCRR as a mediator settles disputes between or among parties through its assigned caseworkers. The successful caseworker is one who is able to bring the parties together. That is the object every caseworker strives to achieve.
